Inspired by scrumptious birthday cakes and my own baking dreams, I've whipped up a collection that's as playful as it is squishy. Using plush as my secret ingredient, I've transformed sweet treats into cuddly masterpieces that'll make your heart flutter. With every stitch and carefully chosen fabric and embellishment, I've infused these creations with a dash of whimsy and a sprinkle of joy. So grab a slice of fun and immerse yourself in a fantastical place where cakes can be hugged; icing squiggles adorn our walls; melty ice creams are a good thing and happiness is served with a side of squishiness!
Jane Jauregui is a self-taught plush toy designer and soft sculptor. Her life changed in 2009 when she was looking for the perfect plush for her one-year-old niece. After searching high and low for the perfect plush, she decided it was time to take matters into her own hands by drafting a pattern and sewing her first plush toy. Although her niece turned out to not be a plush person, Jane was reacquainted with her love of all things cuddly. Since then, she has created numerous designs under her brand Janie XY and has also worked with Disney, Mattel, American Apparel, and more. She is currently writing a DIY plush book all about her favorite subject--food, and is very relieved that her now 2-year-old daughter very much likes plush.
